Tutty Fruity

  Those colorful teeny tiny tutty fruity. We can eat it as is or use it to decorate cakes, ice creams, Kheer etc 

Ingredients:


           Watermelon's white rind cut into small pieces Or Raw Papaya (Skin Peeled) cut into small pieces
           Brown Sugar - 1 Cup (Or adjust to the quantity of quantity of watermelon/Papaya pieces
           Cardomom powder - One Pinch
           Water       

Way to go


  • Cook the watermelon/papaya pieces in water for 5 mts. It should be half cooked and should not get over soft. Drain the water 
  • Ready the Sugar Syrup to one string consistency. Quantity of syrup should be good enough to immerse all the pieces.
  • Add the pieces to the syrup. Add little bit of Cardamom powder or vanilla essence for flavor. Cook in low flame until all syrup is absorbed into the pieces.
  • Turn off the flame once done.
  • Spread the sugar-soaked-pieces in OTG and bake for 15 to 20 mts at 150 Degrees.
  • Your Tutty Fruity is ready for use
